Travelers who hold a valid U.S. visa (B-2 or any other type) can travel to the United States with it, for the purpose it was issued. Travelers who are traveling with valid visas do not have to apply for an ESTA authorization. However, please remember that you must enter the United States with a valid passport. If the valid visa was processed with an expired passport, you must bring both the expired and valid passports on the trip.
